Try applying the product into your palm, comb or brush rather than spritzing it directly onto your "do", then just skim the very surface of your hair. Only apply the sparest amount — the measured dose from a pump or spray might be far too much. It can also help to begin with your lengths first as this is where flyaways tend to be the biggest problem. By the time you make it up top, you'll have less product so you won't overload the roots.
