How to perfect face powder

The first step to a flawless finish is picking the perfect shade. And the secret is this: powder shouldn’t add colour, it sets your face and it should be undetectable. Then it’s all down to application.
If you need to mop up shine, using blotting papers first will stop cakey, heavy-feeling build-up. Then patting on the powder (no swiping!) will keep the rest of your face intact.
Got dry skin or lines? Never use powder as a preventative measure only use it to zap shine if it arises. Apply it with a light hand and a soft brush. This will help the powder skim across your skin without highlighting dry patches or lines.
