Wiggle it, just a little bit

Wiggle it, just a little bit

What vibrates, needs to be added to your life this second, but won’t be found in an episode of Sex And The City?

Answer: oscillating mascara. It’s been out for a few months now, but I have shied away from it with the stubborn belief that applying mascara was one of the few areas of my life where I didn't need any extra help.

Oh, how wrong I was. The gently vibrating wand allows me to capture and define all those pesky fine lashes, with an absolute minimum of effort. It cuts mascara application in half, saving me precious seconds – all too important while applying makeup at traffic lights (oh come on, you know you do it). It also tickles!

My final bar of stubbornness fell when Lancôme came up with a solution to my “But I’m addicted to lash primer, and isn’t oscillating over the top of already-coated lashes kind of pointless?” dilemma. On counter this week is Lancôme’s Ôscillation Amplifier, $65, which provides a coat of thickening, souped-up white matter. Double up and put a normal (i.e. black) oscillator over the top for bat-’em-and-you’ll-totally-get-that-coffee-for-free lashes.
