She was discovered when … she won the Face of Rossendale Modelling Contest in 1999 while working at the local village chippy but it wasn't until she appeared soaking wet on the cover of a French Vogue beauty supplement in 2006 that her career began to take off.

She has been linked to … best buddy and partner in crime Henry Holland, who designs the eccentric English label House of Holland — best known for their cheeky slogan tees. Her ex-beau is Josh Hubbard of the band The Paddingtons. And more recently Deyn is rumoured to have hooked up with Albert Hammond Jr from the Strokes — the two have been snapped canoodling in New York's Central Park.

You might also have seen her … starring as the face of Burberry's The Beat fragrance campaign, Giorgio Armani, Cacharel, Blugirl by Blumarine and she's also the face of Jean Paul Gaultier's Ma Dame fragrance. Also in shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, House of Holland, Rodarte, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Anna Sui, Fendi and more.

Other than modelling she is known for … what can we say? It's all about the hair — her boy-short peroxide shaggy crop, given to her by hairstylist Sam McKnight for a Mario Testino shoot two years ago, has affectionately been dubbed "the Aggy" and is being touted as the defining hairstyle of the decade. And if that wasn't enough there's also talk being bandied about of Deyn being the new Kate Moss due to her emerging style icon status. Oh, and she's just featured on the single 'Who' with the Five O'clock Heroes. Is there anything this girl can't do? Sigh.
