What inspired your spring-summer 2009-10 collection?
The concept of time and things aligning, plus men and women coming together.

Floor-length patch-knit unisex cardigan.

Shower, coffee, music, work like crazy, try to dream up some new ideas, catch up with friends and lovers for dinner and occasionally try to squeeze in some yoga or tennis.

What's been your most recession-proof purchase; something that has stood the test of time?
Roman sandals bought in Florence for about $50. I wear them all the time and in winter with socks.
What's your best survival secret to getting through Fashion Week?
