Heidi Klum attended the annual amfAR gala event in New York City last night, making her first red carpet appearance since splitting with husband Seal.

The 38-year-old supermodel stunned in a black Roberto Cavalli gown accessorised with chunky costume jewels and, most notably, her wedding ring.

The New York fashion set were out in full force at the black-tie event, hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker, with appearances from the likes of Alexa Chung, Leighton Meester and Karolina Kurkova.
