To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, English luxury department store Harrods has commissioned 31 designers and jewellery houses to reimagine the Queen's coronation outfit to display in their windows — specifically her gown and, most importantly, the St Edward's Crown.
Playing Queen for a day were Mulberry, Roberto Cavalli, Lanvin, Valentino, De Beers and Tiffany & Co., among others. Our favourites? We love Mulberry's crown, which appears to be covered in very British hundreds and thousands, and Paul Smith's version, which is topped off with a miniature corgi. But we really can’t get over De Beers' effort, which features 974 diamonds, including an impressive 73-carat sparkler.
