It was a shoes-off affair for Chanel’s S/S 10-11 cruise show in St Tropez, with the models arriving by sailboat and then walking down the street on the famous foreshore carrying their heels or wearing flat sandals. Crystal Renn walked as did Georgia May Jagger, who must have got a reprieve from her rumoured grounding to close the show riding on the back of a black motorcycle.

All of Karl Lagerfeld’s favourite girls were there: Johnny Depp’s other half, Vanessa Paradis, and Chanel mascots Diane Kruger, Leigh Lezark and Anna Mouglalis, but it was US Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley who stole the show in a flamboyant green cape.
